Most of the time we are in cities, we have a purpose. Shopping, work or entertainment drives us onward. We look down at the pavement, gaze into shop windows or stare blankly into the faces of the people streaming towards us. We watch out for traffic, obstacles, danger.
But if we cast our eyes skyward, and take a moment to look between the steel and glass of high-rise structures, we may catch a glimpse of the blue of the sky that extends beyond the city and into the void beyond.
